By downloading, installing, or using Rings:LifeManager ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
The App is developed and operated by OctiCorp ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and OctiCorp.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Rings:LifeManager is a voice-to-productivity iOS and watchOS application that lets you record audio, transcribe speech, generate AI summaries, manage lists, track habits, create calendar events, take notes, and run focus timers — entirely on your device.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
New users receive a 30-day free trial with access to the full feature set of Rings:LifeManager. No payment method is required to begin the trial.
The trial period begins when you first launch the App. After 30 days, continued access to premium features requires an active subscription. Your recordings, lists, notes, and other data are never deleted — only premium features are gated after the trial.
The trial is available once per user. Creating multiple accounts or reinstalling the App to obtain additional trial periods is a violation of these Terms.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access to premium features until the period ends. We do not offer partial-period refunds directly — all refund requests are handled by Apple.
Refund requests are managed exclusively by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. OctiCorp does not process refunds independently.
You agree to use Rings:LifeManager only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
We reserve the right to terminate your access to the App if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and brand identity, is owned by OctiCorp and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App — including your recordings, transcriptions, summaries, notes, lists, and habit data. OctiCorp makes no claim to any content you create.
Because all data is stored locally on your device and we have no server-side access to your content, we cannot and do not use your content for any purpose.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully — the short version: your data stays on your device.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. OctiCorp expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
AI-generated content (transcriptions, summaries, Smart AI Actions) is produced by on-device models and may contain errors. You should not rely on AI-generated output for critical decisions without independent verification.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OctiCorp and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as applicable under local law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by providing in-app notice.
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.
